Our story
Dry farmed vineyard planted in 1992, expanded in 1999 with Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer. We follow regenerative farming practices and minimal intervention winemaking, using only grapes grown on our property. Our small, 100% Canadian family owned/operated vineyard has a mission to to farm in a sustainable fashion, to respect the land and to support local whenever possible. Instead of herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, we use a small flock of Icelandic sheep and Emden geese to manage the vineyard floor and improve soil health.
We focus on improving Soil Health and follow minimum intervention Winemaking.
Steps we have taken towards Sustainability:
Solar Power

2025: solar panels were installed on the roof of our winery. Mid-summer, we generate enough power to satisfy most of our needs. Any excess power is sent back to the grid.
Rain Water Collection

2024: large storage tanks placed in lower field collect and store up to 73,000 liter or rain water which can be used during the dry season to reduce strain on local aquifer.
Soil Health

2022: animal grazing program helps to improve the soil microbiome. To manage weeds, we graze sheep in the vineyard during the winter and geese during the summer.
