Our mission is to grow grapes in a sustainable and regenerative fashion while working in harmony with nature. Everything from pruning the vines in winter to harvesting the grapes in fall is done by hand, with careful attention to soil and plant health. Each plant is touched by us many times throughout the season so we get very familiar with each of our site’s distinctive characteristics. Steering clear of extensive use of machinery and using no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides requires diligence and intensive manual labor, but since “great wines are made in the vineyard, not the cellar”, we believe that it is worth the extra effort.
